Founded by Alan Hodgkinson
Our Story
Alan Hodgkinson founded this business in 1972, long before the shopping centres arrived. More than half a century later, we're still here — still in Clarkston, still family-run, still putting personal service above everything else.
We operate from our own premises with an in-house workshop, not a traditional retail unit. That means you get genuine attention, honest advice, and work carried out on-site by people who know exactly what they're doing.
Between our team, we have over 140 years of combined experience. We've served four generations of families across Glasgow and beyond, and we're proud of every one.
