Many minor repairs — chain soldering, ring cleaning, clasp replacement — can be done while you wait or collected the same day. We'll always tell you honestly what needs doing, and what doesn't.

What we do
Ring Resizing
Same day – 3 daysAll metals, up or down by up to three sizes. Every ring we've ever sold is resized free for life.
Stone Replacement
3–7 daysMissing or chipped stones replaced with matched stones, or a stone you supply.
Claw Re-tipping
1–3 daysWorn claws rebuilt in gold or platinum to secure your stone. We recommend claw inspection every couple of years.
Chain Soldering
Same dayBroken chains repaired and pressure-tested. All gauges of chain.
Rhodium Plating
2–4 daysWhite gold and silver pieces re-plated in rhodium to restore their bright white finish.

Same day – 2 daysSilver cleaned, dipped, and hand-polished to restore its original brightness.
Full Clean & Polish
Same dayUltrasonic clean and hand polish. Steam clean included. We won't polish antique pieces without discussing it first.
Clasp Replacement
Same day – 1 dayLobster, push-box and toggle clasps replaced. Wide range of stock sizes held.
Antique Restoration
1–3 weeksSensitive restoration of Victorian, Edwardian, and Art Deco pieces. We discuss the approach with you before we start.

Rhodium Plating
White gold and silver pieces are plated in rhodium to give them that bright, white finish. Over time, with everyday wear, the plating thins and the underlying metal begins to show through. Re-plating restores them completely.
We offer rhodium plating at £35 per ring, or £70 for two rings — a very popular service, especially before special occasions.

Insurance valuations
We provide written valuations for insurance purposes. Every valuation includes a full description of the piece, metal type, stone grades, and the current replacement value. Accepted by all major UK insurers.
